Plex HTPC will no longer let me connect to my account

I was forced today to reinstall Plex app since my anti virus just randomly uninstalled the (now removed) PMP. So I upgraded to HTPC (still kinda confused why this change happened in your apps even after reading your blog) and while I could connect the fist time, now whenever I open plex HTPC it says I am offline, I try and reconnect it says cannot connect to plex.tv, I try and logout so I can refresh my login but that breaks the app somewhat bad.

I can however, open the plex server that is installed on the same computer and everything is working just fine. I can login to my account just fine there.

What could be up here?

I believe this was something to do with kaspersky, it keep trying to remove plex, it removed PMP and now it is removing Plex HTPC classing you as a malicious application due to your full screen abilities since a recent update
