Plex HTPC works better than the above. The above have bugs that Plex HTPC doesn’t have.
There are three separate applications. PMP & Plex HTPC are oriented toward HTPC users. Plex for Mac/Win, is oriented towards Mac/Win desktop/laptop users.
Plex HTPC (announcement), still under development, is the replacement for Plex Media Player (docs).
Plex for Mac/Windows (docs) is a separate application. It resembles Plex Web, and is not oriented towards HTPC users.

I don’t know what to do … I don’t understand why the stream from Plex for Windows or Mac stops after a broadcast with an error message and Plex HTPC has no bugs.
Hopefully someone with Live TV / DVR experience can assist. I do not use that part of Plex.
You will need to provide additional details.
What version of Plex Media Server are you running? Available in Authorized Devices.
What error message? Can you provide a screenshot, etc?
You may need to provide server logs capturing the problem. Make sure your server is set for debug, not verbose, logging. See Reporting issues with Plex Media Server for details.

After sometime the playback stopps. 
The errors says: Playback failure

PLEX HTPC don´t have this strange issue!!
The problem with the playback stop is not with my computer or network. Because I also tested the Plex app in another network (not at my home) and the error also happened there.
What am I wondering? Why doesn’t anyone else have these problems ???
I’ve tested with both Octopus Net and HDHomeRun and both of them had these problems.
I have the same issue, I’ve just got my HDHomerun, setup with no issues, two channels wont start playback, i can access the HDhomerun on the browser, i can play all the channels using VLC, have you tested that ? but these two channels always this error… I did not found any help so far… I’ll post back if I have any news.
Yes, I don’t have this error on many different players. Only with Plex for Windows, Plex Web App and Plex Media Player. But not with Plex HTPC.
I know, it is another engine, but why is this issue not solved and why am I exclusively the only one with this issue?
This is very weird… I’ve tested on Firefox, Plex App for Windows, Plex HTPC no dice on any… But on the plex app on my android galaxy S10+ it worked all channels ! So, we can assume that plex server is functional, the hdhomerun is functional, the problem lies on the plex server content delivery to the browser and aps… I guess 
news… I was trying to use my HDHomerun with the windows app and getting a weird error 4001 , I’ve contacted the seller for help and it turns out I have to send-it back to be replaced 
so I will not be able to help with this for some time until I get a new one… I’ll be back
