As long as you use Plex you will always encounter such limitations,
See automatic subtitle or language selection that becomes really strange as soon as you deal with multiple languages and forced subs. It is totally useless.
as well as strange design decisions and poorly documented behavior.
e.g. turning off remote access does not actually turn off remote access. But with remote access turned off, local streams are suddenly recognized and treated as remote streams. They say its not a bug.
There will always be bugs that are not fixed in favor of new features.
Support requests are often ignored or left halfway.
If you have a Plex Lifetime Pass, you’ll have to learn to live with it. If you don’t have one yet, run as far as you can. lol
