I added episode 1 of the new ITV series The Suspect did a scan but it didn’t appear. I then discovered that Plex has confused The Suspect’ with ‘Suspect’ a TV series released earlier this year. www.thetvdb.com recognises that these are two different series.

How to I make Plex see that ‘The Suspect (2022)’ is a different show to ‘Suspect (2022)’?
Thanks for the rapid reply but unfortunately I don’t understand what you mean. Clearly Plex is ignoring ‘The’ but I have no option to “SPLIT APART” I only know that Plex is confusing the two shows because when I go to Episode 1 of ‘Suspect (2022)’ I see that there are two versions one. If I look at ‘Get Info’ there are two files one has a duration of 23.29 (this is Suspect (2022)) while the other has a duration of 49.07 (this is The Suspect (2022)).
Apologies. I just found ‘Split Apart’ is at the Series level not at the Episode level. I have now successfully split them apart & can see the metadata for ‘The Suspect (2022)’. Thank you for the pointer.
Make use of the ID number in the show folder name. It is there for such cases.
