On my Plex server, I have folders with series inside, but Plex does not identify them. When he identifies, he joins the episodes of all series, for example:
Cartoon Network> Ben 10 (2005)> Season 01> S01E01
Cartoon Network> Ben 10 - Alien Force (2008)> Season 01> S01E01
Plex puts the episodes of “Ben 10 - Alien Force” as if they were “Ben 10 (2005)”, I end up having more than 1 file in just 1 episode.
My other problem is that Plex does not identify the series. I have the following folders:
Rede Globo> Verdades Secretas (2015)> S01E01
Rede Globo> Cheias de Charme (2012)> Season 01> S01E01
I think that is probably because it is searching for english if your library is set to English. the name of the first show in English is “Hidden Truths” for example so it can’t find it.. From the options menu choose Match then in the window select “Search Options” then change the language drop down to Portuguese
This is the problem, my library searches for items in Portuguese (language of both series), but both do not even appear in the library, it is as if the folders did not exist.
Have you checked file/folder permissions? Outside of naming which seems to be fine persmissions is the main reason files would not be scanned in at all.
