Plex is unable to start

So my mistake, Iam also 4.1.

Reading the wrong version from Authorised devices

No worries

Deleting Plex app > turning off to standby for a minute or two >powering back on and reinstalling Plex did somthing, Now I’m in and need to sign in to the app.

I have verified that the settings match the ones you suggested earlier, about insecure connections.

Give me a minute to try this.

Linked the account as instructed by the TV app. And sure enough, we are back to the Plex logo again where nothing happens… :frowning:

Restarted the app and it worked. I could see my media and stream just fine.

Then I restarted again, just to check and now it doesn’t work anymore.

Jesus Christ… >_<

EDIT: Tried 3 or 4 times more and it just doesn’t work. I’ve had it with this crap for now. I hope they will fix it someday.

Thank you SE56 for trying to help me  Best of luck to the OP too!

Yeah I just tried all that stuff and still nothing. Thanks for the help anyway. Hopefully there’s a fix from Plex end sooner than later.

Guys I would also try turning off at server all the online media sources

Doesn’t help unfortunately

Anyone figure this problem out?

Nope. This is still very much an issue. The LG C8 just got an update too, but that solved nothing.

I am having the exact same issue. Worked fine yesterday now giving -337 on app start. I am on C9 Webos 04.70.05. X-Play and other mobile devices work.
No updates available for the Webos.

Tried the following:
Turn TV off on. - did not work
Attached network cable - did not work
Removed authorized device from account - did not work
Try to turn off on TV after I removed authorized device - did not work.
Turned quick start+ off from tv settings and restarted TV - did not work. Asked me to link device and after that same issue as before
Removed authorized device, restarted app a couple of times. linked again and same issue.

Factory reset the TV and install app is the only thing that worked. Someone need to swap out that developer cause there are some shameful bugs in that app. Is inconsistent and unstable

FYI: If I disconnect network cable while the app is starting I received an error code -21 unstable connection.

Tried to enable required secure connection from phone app to verify the connection is secure and it is.

I have the same problem - I have had this fault for 2 years but thought I would try again. I still have the problem and I have tried all suggestions above. FOLLOWING

Same problem. PLEASE fix this!!!

What model LG and which Plex media server version please, a short explanation helps little. There are millions of LG TV’s, I don’t see the forums flooded with this issue. You need to detail your situation. As LG user with 2018 model I do not have this problem sorry, like so many others.

I have a LG C8 OLED with a nVidia Shield running PMS. Version isn’t a very relevant question because its been going on for the last several months like others have pointed out. I am currently on the current published non-beta versions of client/server…but it’s been several other combos over the last several months as well.
