The additional Disney+ subdirectory nesting underneath TV will cause problems.
If thge Library is configured to use D:\Plex\TV, then shows should all be located immediately in that directory, D:\Plex\TV\Loki.
If you wish to use such filesystem grouping, move Disney+ out from TV, to D:\Plex\TV Disney+, and add that additional directory to the Plex Library. (My recommendation, don’t do this. Just put shows in TV.)
You may also have better luck if you don’t rename shows. It’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, not “Falcon & Winter Soldier”.
First of all, I wanted to say thanks for responding…
I have
D:\Plex\TV\Disney+\Beatles - Get Back
D:\Plex\TV\Disney+\Hawkeye
Those videos show up and work flawlessly.
I used TV Rename on the files to make sure they were all named correctly.
The show now says The Falcon and Winter Soldier.
I then moved it to the TV Folder - D:\Plex\TV
Full Name:
D:\Plex\TV\The Falcon and the Winter Soldier
Example of show name:
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier - S01E01 - New World Order.mkv
The shows are still NOT showing up in the plex “TV Show” view mode.
Those files may have previously been linked to incorrect shows.
Several options -
Plex Dance
It’s important to complete those steps in order.
This will probably be necessary to correct any bad File → Show association.
Check for anything that hasn’t been matched. In the Library view, Unmatched. I don’t think you’ll have anything.
Check for Duplicate Episodes. In the Library view, Duplicates → Episodes → Date Added. This would reveal any bad File → Show associations that have happened.
View by Folders. In the Library view, choose Folders and navigate to the files. Clicking an episode should reveal what show that file was associated with.
