I’ve googled this for weeks now, tried every solution I could find and nothing fixes it, I even reinstalled the whole of Plex. It just will not let my PC go to sleep even when the clients aren’t turned on at all (Samsung TV or Chromecast).
powercfg -requests shows Plex requesting to keep the PC awake constantly, as soon as I close Plex it disappears from command prompt and the PC will go to sleep. If I restart Plex it will go to sleep but only if I’m fast and do it manual, if I wait 10 seconds it starts requesting to remain awake again.
I’ve had to resort to Emby just so my PC isn’t sitting there all day on without anybody using it, I’ve used Plex for years and not had this problem until about 6 months ago. My friend also has this problem now too so it’s either a Plex update or Windows update that’s caused this bug.
Emby still goes to sleep fine so I don’t know. I’ve tried every suggestion I could find (removing scheduled tasks, disabling DLNA etc etc)
