I’m trying to add Farscape to my Plex TV Show Library, and I have it saved to it own folder in my TV Show folder, then separated by season folder. I’ve followed the naming conventions (Farscape (1999) - s01e01 - Premiere, etc) and Plex keeps adding it to the Movie library and mismatching to a one-off Farscape special “Farscape Undressed.”
I’ve tried adding the TVDB ID, the IMDB ID to no avail. I’ve tried Fix Match, Unmatch, removing and re-adding different episodes, and nothing works. I can’t get Plex to stop using the Plex Movie auto-match library, and I can’t get it to recognize it as a TV show. Editing manually also doesn’t seem to do anything. Is there anything else I can do to edit it manually or at least move the show to the TV show library?

– of course, as soon as I submitted my post I realized the issue: because I use copy and paste to name many files as I go, and had originally added a typo in the season portion of the episode file name : “se01e01” rather than the correct “s01e01,” the typo was applied to every file name. Of course Plex would struggle to correctly match that.
