Plex mismatching TV episode to wrong (non-existent) season

Why is there no feature to correct mismatches at the episode level?

I followed the convention, did all the heavy lifting, and Plex still gets it wrong.

As far as I have read around the forum, I believe that I am in compliance with the accepted naming convention, yet Plex still thinks this episode is for season 4.

…\Dark Angel\Season 01\Dark Angel - S01EP05 - 411 on the DL.mp4

Do I need to rename to “Four-One-One on the DL” or something like that?
Anyone have any thoughts?

No, you’re not.
S01E05, not S01EP05

Your MP4 file could also have embedded meta data, which can interfere with the matching process.
You need to tell Plex to disregard them, like so:

Then perform the Plex Dance:

Just a quick thanks for this, I had the correct file names but had not seen the “Plex Dance” before:-) but it worked well! Peter
