Server 2016 i bought lifetime membership in 2017 no code ever delivered but it got activated. Since then it disconnecting and asking me to buy a new subscription every year or so or new update. Kinda of tired after 8 years contacting support which is very slow what is my key and how to put it in. This should be easy! I have no access to share my media probably because i don’t have premium. I dont know why phone support is not available for a product probably used daily and why ticket support takes so long. Some people cant afford 5 paid channels and relaie on this, fortunately i can still not a excuse to get peoples PAID SUBSCRIPTION running. If id known this 8 years ago i would have looked for a better option, but since i paid i want it working
There is no code. The Plex Pass subscription is tied to your account (email or otherwise) that you used when signing up. You need to login to your server and claim it using that account. Once that’s done, you’ll have all functionality – as it currently exists – that comes with a Plex Pass subscription.
Fugured it out based on your response. I was under the impression that i couldn’t get access due to it asking me to upgrade. With so many updates is there a easy way to click plex and it goes directly to server movies? I went through several menus before i found my server videos. Honestly dont even remember how i did it. Id like just a server videos to show up on plex at start up. I stream to my car and going to all the menus is time consuming
Also is there a way to bypass the lock code
Yep, auto login functionality is in the settings of the Web Player and the apps.
Also, you just need to adjust the Home customization to include the server and libraries you care about (for web and legacy apps)
I’m not sure I’m able to decipher the problem. So you havent used it for 8 years and just trying to figure things out?
