Plex Live TV Channel Data using Onconnect is

Hi Plex Pass users in the UK!!
Well, as the title goes to this thread, Plex Live Channel Data using Onconnect is Terrible here in the UK, and Gracenote isn’t bothered, and cannot give a hoot full stop even once you’ve entered the issue into this site - https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeUaYIb0YOXtKyMHhTrEGc11gJO_bQFqp_S3KANAf95wEhbMQ/viewform Gracenote don’t care, they don’t wan’t anything to do with the Open Source EPG system, or if they do, the Freeview channels here in the UK are missing quite a few channels, and before someone asks, have I entered the data into the online form, Yup 105 times for over 15 channels!
What I would like Plex Dev’s to look at is using a much better EPG system for the server, I doubt they will, as they expect users to own the HDHomerun devices that provide EPG data, but for those of us that own something like the Hauppage WinTV DuoHD or QuadHD devices, we have to put up with Gracenotes shoddy EPG!
I still won’t leave Plex as I helped with the last Alpha testing, and I would be up for doing any tests if needed to improve, finally, the EPG on PMS, which is badly overdue in my eyes.

To end this thread, I had 135 channels that were watchable on Freeview till the other day when Smithsonian TV channel data just up and left the Plex EPG Data, in total there should be over 140 Channels watchable through my antenna, but Plex EPG Data courtesy of Gracenote fails to show all channels.

Is there any chance of fixing this shoddy Openconnect and going elsewhere??

Dave
