Plex matching stopped working suddenly

Server Version#: v.1.41.3.9314
Player Version#: not applicable

I have added 2 new movies to my database today, but I cannot get Plex to searchg for them in the movie database.

It was working fine on the 18th of this month (9 days ago) when I added another movie.

I upgraded to the latest plex server, but that did not help.
I changed the libraries Agent from ‘Plex movie’ to ‘The Movie Database’, but that did not change anything.
I changed the search criteria several times, but it just does not find any matches.

I have a log file, but don’t know how to read it.
If anybody can tell me how to add one to this post, please do.

I don’t know what happened, but after turning on debug logging it worked.
I could match the two new movies without any problem.

Even after turning the debug logging off again, it continued to find the titles.

Must have been a temporary problem, although I cannot understand why since I tried with two different agents (servers).

Anyway. It is solved now.

Not an uncommon thing Plex refuse to scan new movies.
normal " fix" is the Plex dance.

Move files out to where not monitored
Scan files for the library (let it finish)
Empty Trash
Clean bundles (Also let this finish)
Optimize Database (AND THIS TOO)
Now move it back.

This is the only plex dance i got consistent success with

I don’t know what happened, but I added another movie today and Plex matched it immediately.

So the short plex dance of

worked for me.

But other users may be helped with the dance that PunkleJones described.
