Plex media player on macOS can't find Chromecst

Hi,

Plex media player in my Mac can’t find Chromecast in the network but I can cast using google chrome.
Can anyone help me?
I use macOS High Sierra.

Same issue. Running player 3.26.2 with server 1.9.6.4429.
The Chromecast is visible and usable from Chrome browser and Plex Android app

I have this same issue. Would really like this to be resolved

From what I can find, the only way to cat from a computer is through the Chrome-browser.
