After performing the update to Plex-Media-Server-1.7.0.3840-45a6a85f4.exe on my Windows 7 system the program guide will not download all of the channels selected. The update on my QNAP TS-453a to the new version is workign correctly and all channels are updated accordingly.
Actions taken:
Restarted PMS - no change
Ran repair of PMS installation - no change
Scanned channels on tuner again and found 476 channels and I selected the 172 I wanted (see attached).
Clicked on update program guide and it only downloads the first 5 channels (see attached)

Please advise on next course of action
Please provide link to previous working version that I can download to test if a back rev will solve the problem.
Thank you
I am having the same trouble. There is some info/shows in the guide, but its limited.
The recordings I had scheduled also disappeared with the programs in the guide. They now show up on the right as “no upcoming airings”
how did you get that channel list?
Does anyone have the previous Plex version? I think I can force my unraid docker to revert until this is resolved. (i think).
Switch Discover to Movies, News, Shows, or Sports, then drop down the All option and select channel.

johnm_ColaSC, Thank you for your suggestion. The problem is not which filter i use it was the fact that the channels that were in the program guide previously were now not showing up or downloading at all, even though the channels show up under the DVR channel list when it scans for channels.
I have since fixed it by removing the HDHomerun device and re-adding it. But now all of my scheduled recordings are orphaned and I will need to recreate them.
@kgarland80. Sorry my post was more for @Plex-User72 who was asking how you got the channel list.
I don’t recall ever having to rebuild my recordings when I removed a HDHR from the DVR. Best of luck on rebuilding. Hope all the shows are currently airing or you may have some you can’t schedule.
I found another issue. The channel guides are no longer fully populated. I selected the guide I normally choose for my area and instead of 500 channels as before I see that it only has about 45 even though all of the channels are available on the HDHomerun device. The guides that are available for download from the installation screen are no longer complete.
Thus making my DVR useless… great job PLEX…

Yes this is the trouble. I have channels 1 - 207 available. However the only ones i’m using are 382 and above (HD channels). That’s why there are only a few shows appearing in the guide. Most of the available channels aren’t selected.
I tried to “Scan Channels” but nothing changed. Something definitely broke in this last update.
I will likely try to roll back if this doesn’t get resolved.
I am having a similar issue. Guide only populates up to a certain point and I do not see any HD channels and they are all available on the HDHomeRun device. I’m not sure going back to a previous release will help as I tried that this morning and the guide still did not populate with all available channels.
OK PLEX What is the deal! When is this going to be fixed??? We are unable to record anything!!!
Things have changed today (for me) but not solved.
Plex was turned off late last night for a hardware update. Today when turned back on, the full channel range shows up in the Plex DVR setup window. The Program Guide update was taking much longer, more like it used too. I thought it was all going to be good, but in the end, nothing new showed up in the actual guide.
Puzzled as to what changed. All I did last night was upgrading 1 of 12 drives in my server, nothing that affected any software or OS. The DVR clearly did not have access to the full channel range last night and today clearly does. However, still no full guide.
OK so revise the above. It seems to be fixed (inexplicably) now.
Remember, I did this TWICE last night and nothing above 207 was even available. I have made no changes since then.
I went into the DVR setup and clicked on the “xxx available” link. This opens the window where you can click on/off individual channels. I think just hit “save” (not cancel) after making no changes.
This forced another Program Guide update and this time it worked.

Well, tried what you did just to see and mine still only has the 5 channels listed for the guide I need to use:
DVR—Verizon Fios Burlington - Digital
Maybe some of them are getting fixed I guess I’ll just keep trying
The Program guide has returned. No rhyme or reason just started working again.
