Program Guide Not Available for a Channel I can view

I have a hdhomerun extend and windows 7 pc that is only used to run the plex server and use appletv 4th generation.

When I set up the DVR and it populates my channels during setup, I’ll have 30 channels show up but only 7 have a program guide. Why is this happening. I have rebooted everything, and uninstalled/reinstalled plex server (rebooted between installations) and it does the exact same thing.

However, I can sometimes see a show listed in the program guide that I know is offered on one of those channels and I’m able to record it no problem. However, other shows don’t show up at all. For example, I have been able to record Judge Judy because I shows up in the list of upcoming programs but Big Bang Theory (both are on CBS) never shows up.

My HDhomerun can see Big Bang theory and all other shows I’m missing.

Any ideas on what is happening?

There’s a PMS update just released that might address this issue.

I’m new to using Plex. Where do I get this update?

I updated prior to this issue to Plex Server Version 1.12.3.4973. So if that is the update you are referring to, that did not make a difference. Thanks for responding to help.

OK, that the latest. If you have not restarted the server, it’s advisable.

I already restarted it after that update.

Can you recommend another EPG source to use? I have no idea where to get or how to configure.
