Plex Media Server frequently crashes

Server Version#: 1.16.5.1554

Server crashes either overnight, or when trying to watch certain shows. I’m not really certain how to proceed.

Can you try and disable the hw transcoder.

I have just disabled the hw transcoder. I will attempt to watch a show that causes the crash and see what happens.

This resolved the issue. I tested several shows that caused the crash.

My PMS keeps crashing and I cannot figure out why it crashes. I disabled HW transcode and that did not help. I rolled back my server version and that did not help. Seems like it stays up for only a couple of hours and then crashes.

Any suggestions?
