Hello. I have struggled for days and still cant find a fix for it. The problem is i cant connect to my local media server on SAME network on any device i use to stream it on. I can only stream on the same device as the media server is on my pc. I cant even Cast from my brave browser to the Chromecast even. PLEASE HELP. It work flawlessly until October/early November.

Please wait at least 10 minutes, then stop and restart your Plex server.
P.S. it can’t hurt to verify that the network connection in Windows is marked as “private”. It must not be “public”, or other plex clients in the same local network are unable to make a direct connection.
how do i restart the plex server agian? (Yes i am a noob)
You right-click the Plex logo in the task tray area to stop it.
Then use the regular Windows Start menu to start it up again.

Just double-checking, “renewing” a certificate is just restarting the program? It’s not a manual setting or process that needs to be done, correct?
It’s a manual process. But only very few servers are affected. And yours is not among these.
I finally found this thread after spending a lot of frustrating and wasted time in rebooting and trying everything I could think of…. and still the error comes back with, “YOUR SERVER IS OFFLINE.”

I just added a new plex server on my windows 10 pc, and it too shows up as unavailable from my Nvidia SHIELD on the same network. I just wanted a more powerful PLEX server for when my main PC is powered on, but I suppose I cannot. Not sure how to fix this.
