Plex Media Server is stuck on Getting ready

Server Version#:1.41.4.9463
Player Version#:
<If providing server logs please do NOT turn on verbose logging, only debug logging should be enabled>
Hi
My plex server will not start anymore
I think something is wrong with my Token
When I start the server from the taskbar the page is stuck on Getting Ready… and the address bar reads:

http://127.0.0.1:32400/myplex/launch?X-Plex-Token=XXXXXX [mod-edit: removed token]

Any solution? I tried uninstalling everything (The App, AppData folder, Reg values)

Can you post your server logs?

Plex Media Server logs.zip (70.8 KB)
Here you go
Thanks!

something is going on:

Mar 04, 2025 02:49:31.040 [18056] WARN - [HttpClient/HCl#25] HTTP error requesting POST https://plex.tv/api/v2/pins?strong=true (60, SSL peer certificate or SSH remote key was not OK) (SSL: no alternative certificate subject name matches target host name 'plex.tv')

check your DNS settings, system time.

then try http://127.0.0.1:32400/web on the server using a new incognito tab.

DNS settings and the system time are fine

But something weird is going on

I cannot access the plex download page. It Says:
Something went wrong. The Plex Media Server list of apps, is not available at this time. Please try reloading the page, or try again later.

If the problem persists, please contact support.

What DNS are you using? and what browser?

DNS is from the ISP
and my browser is Chrome

Try setting the DNS to 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1, some ISP’s can mess with the plex DNS records

Well now i can access the Plex download page… But the Plex Server is still stuck on Getting ready…

BTW I tried setting up a new server from another PC on the same network and it works… So i guess the problem is with this specific machine

Restart plex, wait 5 minutes and upload a new copy of your server logs. We need to address the issues as we come across them.

Very weird. Went to sleep, woke up, everything is fine. Thank you for your help though!

Sounds like there may have been a database upgrade being ran, which can cause the server to not respond for a period. depending on the size of your database and the computer it can take some time. We have seen on some NAS to take over 2 weeks.
