I have an Nvidia Shield TV. I went through the process of setting up Plex Media Server. I switched the storage location over to the USB drive that is mounted. Plex is just not finding any media stored, and I don’t see any way to scan for media either. There are no categories such as “Movies”, “TV”, etc. either.
Man, I’m so glad Plex doesn’t bother offering dedicated customer service for their paying customers.
I am also having issues with PMS and DVR on Shield. Despite having an empty, Ultrafast USB 3 Stick mounted as external storage on the Shield, PMS fails to record saying there isnt enough space available . Other apps, including windows apps can see and use the space. The only sucessful recordings I’ve made are thise started while the show is in progress, i.e. a “partial airing”. Is there some “keep alive” setting on the Shield that PMS requires?
