Plex Media Server running but can't access server settings (only web client)

Server Version#: 1.18.2.2058-e67a4e892
Player Version#: 4.8.4 (web client)

I have installed Plex Media Server on my desktop. When I try to run the server, it launches a web browser and I log in with my account. All of this is normal, however once logged in, there is no server interface. It is a web client only with account settings, a Home icon, and “Your media”. When I go to “Your Media,” I see a screen that says “Add your media to Plex” and “Get Plex Media Server.” I can click on this link but it takes me to where I downloaded Plex Media Server in the first place. I have watched numerous tutorials on how to install and set up Plex, however it seems that the browser does not recognize that Plex Media Server is installed and running on the computer. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Plex Media Server twice. I have tried Firefox, Chrome, and Edge all with the same result. I don’t know why I don’t see “libraries” and have no ability to add media. I have tried launching by pasting http://127.0.0.1:32400/web/index.html into the address bar, but it goes to the same interface described above. Am I doing something wrong? What am I missing?

I’m having exactly the same problem and for love nor money can i work out how to fix it. Any ideas I’m assuming its something stupid I’m doing but what?
