Hiya, since about a week now I haven’t been able to open the Plex Media Server application from my desktop. I’ve tried different things I’ve found online, made sure my app was up to date, reinstalled it a couple of times, but nothing seems to work…
When I want to launch the server, absolutely nothing happens, as far as I know not even a process is launched to actually start it up. Literally nothing happens, and I’m at the end of my wits…
Can someone help me out, please?

Did you by chance manipulate the contents of the field
Settings - Server - General - ‘Show Advanced’ - “The path where local application data is stored”
?
If you did, and somehow entered an invalid path into there, then startup can fail without any visible error message.
Take a look into the registry https://support.plex.tv/articles/201105343-advanced-hidden-server-settings/
at the key LocalAppDataPath (if it’s existing at all)
If it’s pointing at a non-existing location, simply remove the key and restart plex server. It will revert back to the default location for the Plex data folder.
