Anywhere else on the mac is fine. When it asks to move itself to Applications folder…it can’t and crashes. Permissions on Applications folder seem normal and no other apps misbehaving.
I would try what they say in this support page or roll back a few versions.
Turns out to be database corruption from the last version. It seems this is happened to some other people. You have to grab one of the backup database files and then it works. Nothing to do with specific permissions or anything else.
