Plex Media Server works on 1 Mac User but does not on 2nd User on the same Mac [Mac user not Plex user]

I have a Mac, and on it is installed the media server. Mac User 1 was used to upload the external hard drive media to my Plex Server, I have now created a second user for the Mac (Mac user not Plex user) and tried opening the media server from there, however it says it cannot connect and is offline.

To fix this I made a copy of everything on
‘~/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server’
from user 1 and copied it to the new user.
that did not work either.

I am trying to move the media server to user 2, but I am unable to do so.

What is the recommended fix for this?

Plex is not designed as a multi-user platform (speaking about the users on your OS).
When you just copy stuff over, there’s some hidden settings that still link that server to its old setup. You might need to remove those parameters from the preferences.
