After my media server was working fine for like 10 months, it suddenly wouldn’t turn on anymore. I deleted and created a new one and now everything works fine except some problems with my library metadata. First of all, Blade Runner 2049 and Once Upon a time in Hollywood were merged and wouldn’t split (I got an error message saying it cant split). They were fine before so it’s not a naming issue of the files etc. Today without doing anything different they did split but now Blade Runner 2049 wont fix match, it keeps using the Once upon a time poster. Unmatch doesn’t work, fix match doesn’t work. I’m using the Plex Movie agent and when I search to fix match it shows the proper Blade Runner 2049 in the results, its just that nothing happens when I select. So the agent is working fine because its showing the results I want but it’s not selecting anything when I click on it. The same issue is happening with Fast and Furious 1 and Fast and Furious 4. I tried restarting the server, tried changing the agent to the movie database or all the other alternatives. Don’t know what to do anymore as everything was working fine before PMS decided not to start up anymore.
I’m running the same server version and this past week has been a nightmare. I’ve been having a lot of issues even opening PMS web gui from the localhost, always displays unreachable. But I digress.
I’ve also been experiencing the same issues with Plex Movie agent, except mine does not pull any results. I can only match using The Movie Database, and even then it does not pull in any metadata.
I’m having the same issues. Even when I can pull results with Fix Match, it doesn’t actually update metadata on the movies. No posters/descriptions, etc.
I can get the PMS web gui from localhost if I open in shudder Microsoft Edge, but in Firefox it’s just giving me a blank white page.
I finally got mine working today. I rolled back to 1.21.0.3616, which initially did not solve my problem. I had to then also do a network adapter reset in Windows 10. If you go to the network status page, the very bottom option should be ‘Network Reset’. Once that was finished everything was working again. I’ll be sticking with 1.21.0.3616 for the foreseeable future.
