Hi, attempting to test the new Plex Experience Preview and when I open the app and click sign in, it takes me to https://app.plex.tv/auth/ with no option to actually sign in. I’ve tried leaving the preview and rejoining, reinstalling, clearing cache and data, etc. Nothing works. Pixel 9 Pro XL using Android 15.
Hi @JordanFair Sorry your having an issue signing in! Can I ask you to try using your mobile data and/or ensuring you don’t have a private DNS setting on your phone turn on that could be preventing things from loading?
Thanks for the suggestions! I tried mobile data as well as Wi-Fi. I also tried using a VPN. Private DNS is also set to off. Unfortunately none of those worked. It just loads the Plex logo auth page and nothing more.
I’ve solved the issue by temporarily changing my default browser to Chrome. My default browser app is an app that opens a pop-up that sends the link to my browser of choice. I’ve never had an issue with this before.
However it looks like the additional information at the end of the URL identifying the client ID/device does not get passed along. I’ve used other browser based login flows without issue before so not sure what Plex is doing differently here.
I couldn’t log too with Duck Duck Go, i had to download chrome to log, then delete it from m’y apps
