Looking at things based off of the logs, it seems that the service is not starting. When I try to start it manually, I get the following error:
I tried repairing the installation and even deleting the service executable and reinstalling Plex.
Iām also experiencing this issue - updates not installing.
I opened a topic on SuperUser to hopefully collect specific answers to the problem:

If anyone has any specific logs I should look at, please let me know.
I am having the same issue. Like pk_plex, I am also on Mac. I like to install apps through the Homebrew Cask CLI package manager, but since this issue, is cross platform, I doubt thatās the cause. I did a reinstall through that interface last night, which did not solve the issue.
Iām happy to try again and submit any logs.
