Thanks. However, I cannot see how this answers my question regarding IMDB rating.
I will swap to the new agent and refresh my library. Crossing my fingers that the matching now will work.
I’ve not been aware we’re discussing IMDb ratings?!
Upgrading your library will not rematch existing content
Nerver mind. I’ll try the new agent for a while and see if it solves my matching issue. Using IMDB rarings will be an issue for another day.
As mentioned by tom80H, try adding the IMDB or TMDB ID to the folder and file name. Plex uses the ID first when matching movies.
FWIW, these matched immediately on my system using the new agent:
/Movies/Borat Subsequent Moviefilm (2020)/Borat Subsequent Moviefilm (2020).mkv
/Movies/Kajillionaire (2020)/Kajillionaire (2020).mkv
I’ll give it a go. Now I have this configured:
The Movie Title (2010) [Bluray-1080p] tt0066921
and that’s not going to work – or at least not in the way that Plex recognizes the IMDb ID of the movie.
Ok, like this then maybe?
The Movie Title (2010) [Bluray-1080p] {tt0066921}
Note that tt0066921
is what Radarr gives me when I select to include the IMDB Id.
Read the “Naming & organizing…” document previously linked by tom80H. It shows the correct format. Alternately, look at his example in his post immediately afterwards.
Hint: {imdb-tt......}
not {tt....}
.
Although not mentioned in the support document, it is OK to have miscellaneous info inside square brackets.
Thanks. I’ll give it a go.
