Plex not detecting media

HAve you made sure your plex server is running on the shield? go into plex on the shield and go to settings. scroll down and click on Plex Media Server and make sure it is running. you might want to read this link also

Plex server running on shield detects localhost only

Have not been using Plex for a while. After a couple of months, i did an a system upgrade on my nvidea shield to latest android OS and realised i’m no longer able to access my plex media server. Im running the media server and my players locally (connected via a netgear router, which also has a network mounted hard disk that has the media library for plex).
