Hello,
I’m looking for help as Plex isn’t seeing or adding all my music from my Synology Nas.
It does load some folders and finds maybe 30 different songs/folders but not all of them
I have no issues with movies, anything I put in that folder gets found but when it comes to the music files it finds it justs stops scanning and doesn’t add anymore.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plex server on my Nas as well as creating a new shared folder with music files and just trying a few as at a time. I have also checked permissions and they are all ok. I’ve checked folder structures and they are ok too.

- music content
- artist name
- album name
- track
I did have my music on Plex several years ago and it was all found on the same set up but I removed it as it was slow.
I’d appreciate any help
