Sorry, i forgot to translate
So you have a LG65OLEDC8, I have it’s little brother working without issue. (65OLEDB8)
This must be a WAN communication issue
and what should i do?
I see they have released Plex 4.29 for WebOS. As soon as it becomes available I will install and test.
No APK available yet.
Not sure if you going to find any sugar.
Yes but there is a big version increment isn’t there. So I wonder what other changes have been made. It’s worth trying anyway.
It’s automatically applied you can’t do anything to invoke other than start your TV
I’ve turned off auto updates so I do have some control. It’s not been released to the LG store yet
I not sure if that applies to Plex updates
Yeah, it applies to all apps in the store if you set the switch. I manually updated to 4.27.1 that way. Anyhow, regardless I’ll report back once installed.
I have the very same issue. Don’t really know why. No connection issues on my several other devices. The LG TV is my only Plex client that I don’t type my actual Plex user/password into. Maybe it’s something about how the device link is implemented? It’s not a network/router issue. I get it even when my whole setup is on Ethernet cable.
Hi
What you describe is my exact issue. Works fine after initial pairing then as soon as you turn the TV off (and back on again) it won’t connect.
I’m waiting to try v4.29.0
@rups0911, what hardware do you run PMS on?
I’m running it on my PC which is an AMD Ryzen 5 1400 with 16gig ram.
Just tried v4.29.0. Did full TV reset and reinstalled. Connected fine first time then the same error.
This did not fix the problem. If a complete reboot of the LG TV from scratch is required, that should be stated. I have a brand new model LG TV and PLEX rarely comes up, usually just spins and get the :337 error code after a while. I have the latest PLEX server as of 3/26/2020 installed. This has been annoying for over 6 months with no resolution. XPLAY works without a problem as tested a trial. I don’t want to use a Russian app with my credit card so stuck with the native PLEX app for LG. This was annoying for the past few months, now in mandatory stayathome lockdown it was more than frustrating to get an email from the PLEX CEO about use of PLEX during this time. My story is I can’t use it on my TV.
Plex did not find a solution … so I found one … I use Emby … Thank you Plex!
Hi all
The workaround I am using is a Fire TV stick in the back of my expensive 2019 SMART TV! This really is beyond the pale. Incidentally - Plex works fine on the FireTV stick.
Hi,
For all users who got the ERROR -337, you could try this :

This solved my problem
