Suddenly today, the app stopped opening on my Samsung TV. All it does is go to a black screen. Reinstalling and power cycling the TV doesn’t seem to do anything.

It’s their flagship from last year and it’s gotten multiple updates since September. It was working fine until today. I can’t even open the app to change the settings, as soon as I start the app, the screen is just black. It’s a strange issue. Additionaly it says this only impacts internet connect…

I have exactly the same problem since yesterday. Worked just fine the day before.

I don’t know if an update caused it or what, but I managed to fix it by uninstalling the app, hard restarting the TV by unplugging it for a few minutes, and reinstalling the app after.

My TV fixed itself it seems. It was fine this morning again when I tried it.
