It’s either naming or permissions – or a combination.
Re-applying permissions is always a good thing to verify.
Sending files over the LAN often writes the files with the wrong permissions and Plex can’t see them.
You’re an administrator so you can always see everything but Plex is not privileged. It can only see what you’ve expressly granted permission to.
