I am running the latest PlexPass server on my Snynology 1019+. I recently put a few new shows on my server. While I can see all of the episodes for the shows on my Synology, Plex only shows certain episodes. For example, I have the entire “House” tv series on my server, but seasons 1 and 5 only have 3 total episodes show up in Plex. I have discovered that all of the episodes that show up are in x264 or x265 codec. The episodes that do not show up are in the HEVC codec. Can someone help me figure out what I need to do so all of the files I have on my server show up in Plex? Thank you.
DSM 6 or DSM 7?

Can you play the HEVC files in another media player - VLC, etc.
File Permissions
Make sure the user Plex (DSM 6) or system internal user PlexMediaServer (DSM 7) has at least read-only permissions to the files.
See FAQ 19: Setting permissions to allow Plex access to media files.
Be sure to check the box for Apply to this folder, sub-folder and files.

Please show how you have the files named and organized - directory listing, screenshot, etc. Include the full path to the files and file extension.
Plex Media Server Log Files

Enable Settings → Library → Scan my library automatically

Configure server for debug, not verbose, level logs
Settings → Server_Name → General + Show Advanced

Restart Plex Media Server.
Give it 2 - 3 minutes to restart & log the startup sequence. -
Manually scan the library containing the TV show episodes.

After the scan is finished, download the server log files, Settings → Troubleshooting, and upload the entire ZIP file to the thread.
Drag the zip file into the message window. It will insert at the cursor location.
It was the permissions. For some reason the sharing permissions were different for certain files even if they were in the same folders. I changed it for my main media folder and rescan my library, and everything showed up. Thank you for the help.
