Server Version#: DSM7 beta

Plex can see an play all of my old files and even new files in old folders. Any new folders created since upgrading to DSM7 and PMS beta do not show up when I do a new Library scan. If I use folder view in Plex I can see the folder but there are no files in the folders.
PlexMediaServer has read write access to the TV folder. What else should I check?
The new username is PlexMediaServer (DSM 7 forced the change)
sadly I had already given read/write to PlexMediaServer so this did not resolve the issue. I decided I needed to just resolve the issue so I uninstalled Plex, installed the non-beta version, that broke everything so badly that I could not even connect to the server so I uninstalled that and installed the beta again and I have lost all of my meta data but at least it can see the new folders now. I can’t say I solved it the best way but it is solved.

Uninstalling and switching between beta / production is guaranteed to make an absolute mess because files are not stored in the same location.
Nuking it is one option
At some point, when you do opt to go back to Production status,
- It will take time to “upgrade” (as the newer version installs).
- It’s moving the files from the BETA location to Final location.
- None of the permissions change.
