I am the topic owner. Recently my plex service stopped detecting certain file folders on my synology nas. There are 11 folders in my TV folder and only one is listed after a library scan. I have done a complete delete of the plex server app and re-installed, setup new media folders and it is still the same. Any help?

Thanks for the info. I have had my server running for years and this just seemed to happen spontaneously. Now it only recognizes one folder in the TV share.
To add to Otto,
Make certain:
- “System Internal User” PlexMediaServer is selected
- “Apply to this folder, sub-folders, and files” is also selected.
(DSM 7 required a complete overhaul & name change for PMS)
