I’ve used Plex on a Firestick for many years and purchased a Monthly Remote Watch Pass a few months back. Prior to that when the change was made, movies would play for about 5 minutes and then stop, appearing to buffer but never recover. Once I got the pass, all worked great.
Just recently however, Plex on my Firestick is doing the same thing. Movies will play for about 5-10 minutes and then just stop and show as buffering. My Watch Pass is still good and I am being charged for it, but it’s like it doesn’t see it. Watching through a web browser works just fine. It’s only the Firestick.
I just purchased a new FireTV and loaded Plex fresh. Logged in and still get the same problem. I’ve tried other things suggested online like changing Allow Insecure Connections to always. It’s set to Sign In automatically. I just don’t know what else I can change on my end to get this to work properly.
Any suggestions?
