Plex on ipad only shows spinner loading libraries

I’m running plex on an iPad 10th gen running ipados 18.4.1. I installed plex, logged in and when I go to the library, I just see a spinner and it never loads any of the libraries. Plex is working on my smart tvs, browser, and android devices. The app just won’t work on my ipad. Please help!

I have the same issue on iPadOS and iOS, both running 18.4.1, server up to date on docker.

Try logging out, Power down iPad and Server. Power up again and Login to Plex app

Tried already - reinstall plex app on iOS, updating plex server, restarting plex server, removing server configuration and reinstalling plex server. None helped

My libraries show up to start but if i try swap between them the app crashes to a dark screen. Also ios 18.4.1 same on iphones and ipad

New App Won’t Show Libraries

Hello, I’m currently looking into this issue. I’ve noticed in both sets of logs that the client seems to be confused on the favourite libraries. I’m not sure what’s causing this yet, but wondering if someone can try pressing the dropdown caret at the top of the screen (or long pressing on Libraries at the bottom) to bring up the libraries list. I have a suspicion that you could remove your favourites, and re-add them, and you might find that it starts working.

I’ve tried logging out, shutting everything down (ipad and server) and bringing it back up but no dice.

Now my android device got the new experience app v2025.14.0 and it is doing the same thing. so now i can’t watch anything on my plex server now
