When using Plex on Roku Ultra to watch local content the remote buttons do not function as intended. Pause works, but when resuming, instead of rewinding 30 seconds as I had it set to, if will march forward ten seconds. As well, rewind and fast forward don’t really work, either. While watching, if I want to fast forward, I press the button on remote as usual and it looks like it’s working, scan thru the preview images until I get where I’m picking back up, and hit play/pause button, and video resumes right back where I was before the fast-forward operation. Similarly, rewind appears to rewind, but when I press play/pause button the video has skipped forward instead. It’s maddening; to go back 30 seconds in a 2-hour episode of Survivor, I have to start over and watch the whole episode again, as seeking to a position, while it presents to you that it’s working, doesn’t actually work right now.
I have confirmed this from two local Plex Media Servers; one on WIndows 10 that’s been my Plex server for years and years, and also on my new unraid build with the official Plex docker. We also have a TCL Roku TV, and there are no problems with the same operations on that, so this is likely isolated to the Plex client on Roku Ultra.
These buttons function normally in other apps (youtube, netflix, amazon).
Please advise.
