For at least a week Plex on Shield Pro cannot access Plex Server on my Synology. But i can access the same server from my iphone, ipad, and my laptop using the web interface remotely. The notice i get says something like the Plex Server is not available…I know others have experienced this…anyone know of a solution?
I have the exact same problem. I’m going crazy tried everything. Nothing changed on my Synology so I blame Plex on Shield… its just stopped working one day. ( not even a power failure ).
Just last night i thought i would take another look at the server running on my Synology. I still didn’t see any update notifications. But i downloaded the most recent update and manually updated the Plex server software on the Synology. That took care of the problem! I can now access everything. At least last night i could!
