Plex on Synology Stopped Adding Images

Yes maybe 6 months ago I migrated from Win 10 to Synology

Sorry I need the raw files zipped and attached as zip so as to preserve the CR LF characters - pasting here would not show if there is a hex 0A or hex 10 etc at the end of the line

We do have CRLF at end of lines instead of just LF. My theory is that these were added when the system was running on windows

End of Line on windows is Carriage Return / Linefeed (CR LF)
On Linux it is just Line Feed (LF)

My theory is that these cookies were added when the system was running on windows. A recent change to one of the http code modules introduced extra validation and the unexpected Carriage Returns that came from windows started to give the errors

It should be sufficient to delete these HTTPCookies files and they will get recreated

I would be interested if we do still end up with a CR LF at the end of line after doing this

So just delete

Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-in Support/Data/com.plexapp.agents.thetvdb/HTTPCookies
and
Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-in Support/Data/com.plexapp.system/HTTPCookies

and refresh all metadata for the libraries

If still an issue, would like logs and the zipped HTTPCookies files

Deleted the entire plugin data folder and rebooted. The issue has been resolved for me. I did migrate from windows to Synology months ago.

I am having a similar issue with plex server 1.18.3.2156 on Synology. When I add a movie no metadata is pulled down and no matches appear when I try to manually match by adding imdb number/ year etc.

I tried deleting the folder contents mentioned above also to no avail.

you have a few errors in your logs:

1. /Plex doesn’t exist. /volume1/Plex/tmp_transcoding is created for you by the installation scripts.

Once you’ve resolved the external connectivity issues, restart PMS and try again.

I also am running plex on a ds918+, moved from a windows server and started having this problem a month or two ago. Deleting everything in the Plex/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-in Support/Data folder fixed this! Thanks for figuring this out!
