I updated both TV and server, to the newest version, but still no luck!
When I try to change the audio track to German for example, then it just starts spinning, and nothing happens! When I switch back to English then it works as it should.
The German track is AAC Stereo.
The English track is AC3 5.1.
The fun part is that the English track gets transcoded/converted into AAC but when I try to watch something with AAC Stereo or Stereo MP3 then it does not work.
One other thing I noticed is whenever I have a movie with and audio track labeled Unknown instead of the language name, then it also fails to playback.
Maybe these are errors/mistakes on my side. If so, then please tell me what to fix.

- TV App doesn’t show the NAMES of the tracks (it shows only language and stereo mode instead) - it’s not good when you have 3-5 translation tracks in the movie

Also I’ve found a very old topic (since 2017) about a very important and useful feature: setting (or just saving) choice of subtitles and audio tracks for a whole season of a tv show - why hasn’t it been done yet? Who is responsible for new features’ backlog?

I turned transcode back on and it seems it’s almost fixed.
But strange thing is that after that I have turned that back on, I have movies which go into transcoding, which were direct playing before.

That happens with the same file ( it’s an episode ripped with makeMKV from a DVD). And audio has codec: AC3 Stereo, which usually work.
When I turn transcoding ON, then both tracks work but I get transcoding for the whole file? And no direct stream? I don’t get it why…
With the other movies it’s a bit different problem, only difference is that the German track there has AAC Stereo codec and they don’t even work when transcoding is turned on, but the English track with ac3 works still!
