Plex Pass and iOS App

First and foremost, after adding all of my content to a new install of PMS and configuring my Xbox One, Im happily watching TV and enjoying nerdily talking to my Xbox even more than usual.  Well done on good work with this app.

 

Ive purchased Plex Pass and am reading up on syncing across multiple devices, but do I have to also purchase the iOS application or is there a free version?  Its only $5 so Im not terribly worried about it, but thought the Plex Pass subscription came with access to one or more apps.

Unfortunately, there is no free version if the iOS app. Roku, Android and one other one have free apps associated with a Plex Pass subscription.

There is no way for Plex to be able to do that in the Apple Store (from what I understand) and there are other concerns from a release standpoint. Lots of topics about it in the forums.
