Plex Pass: How to control/manage users

I am thinking about getting a Plex Pass so that I can track the usage of my friends and family using my PMS. I had trouble finding the answers on the forum so I am hoping a Plex expert can help me out.

What control do I have with Plex Pass over family members and friends who do not live in my home?

Can I password protect certain libraries?
Can I select which libraries are shown on their Plex Client App?
If later I wish to remove them is it easy to identify each user? As in can I give a custom name to each account/member by MAC address?

Right now on Plex Free I can see authorized devices but that is more geared towards in home use as I’m sure between my extended family several members are sure to have the same devices. There is a shared tab in settings but I’m not sure that is even connected with authorized devices…

It would be nice to have an IP and MAC address so that I can assure only certain devices have access. This would also be nice for example in tracking the usage for each of my kids.

Anyways, I would really appreciate any help someone could give me.

Plex Pass will enable some extended functionality in the Dashboard. Among those, a full playback history.
That being said, running Tautulli additionally, will provide you with more detail info.

Can I select which libraries are shown on their Plex Client App?

Yes. You can even determine which content rating a user is allowed to access.

can I give a custom name to each account/member by MAC address?

No. You can only see the Plex account name/email address.
On ‘managed users’ you can set the user’s name yourself.

Devices are connected to user accounts.
You share with ‘user accounts’, not with ‘devices’.

This would also be nice for example in tracking the usage for each of my kids.

Both the Dashboard and Tautulli will enable you to do that.
