PLEX Pass Local Managed Users

Just got PLEX pass my plan was to use local managed users that can login when they are in the local network, without requiering a PLEX login of any sorts.

I already set it up so it will allow unauthorized access to the web-app without requiering a login, when within the local network. However, I would expect those managed users to be available, but they aren´t. Instead you´re logged in with an anonymous guest of sorts and cannot switch user at all without logging into a plex account.

managed/family users always requires logged in and it requires internet.

this is in the support KB.

So I can create another home user with an account tried that and seems to work with the android apps too. But I´m not really sure it tells me that I´m logged in with my admin user once I logged in with the account I added to home sharing.

For me the thing is that I don´t really want to share my admin account with my family. They should not really even have access to the admin user. And also they are not really a fan of complicated, long passwords. So if I share my credentials with them I´ll see my plex password lying around everywhere on cards to remember and I don´t want that. xD

What´s a bit odd is when you now login with the other account you can access all the accounts and it even sais they are logged in as my account. I would also rather not have that be the case and instead just list the managed users and be able to even unlist the logged in user itself. Since I´m probably gonna end up having one account for me and one account for the rest of the family.

This gives me the ability to have 2 credentials. But it ultimately does not do a whole lot, since they are then logged in as if they logged in with my account anyhow.
