plex pass password reset

I’ve been locked out of my plex account, and the reset password function is not sending me any instructions (checking my inbox, and spam).

Can this be manually initiated by someone at plex?

There haven’t been any password resets requested for the email address associated with your phreaq account. Perhaps you’re mistakenly requesting the wrong address?

As hthighway mentioned, email the plexpass@ address (be sure to include your account username and email address) and we can assist you.

I am now able to log in, and was able to change my password. Perhaps it was just a temporary lock out.

plex.tv accepts my new password, but I was surprised the PMS logged into my account, and didn’t ask for the new credentials.

I still don’t see any password requests to the email address on your account, so you might want to verify that it’s the correct address (e.g. spelled correctly; it’s sometimes easy to misspell a name or domain). That will help ensure that any future communications do work correctly.

The server was already authenticated and so had a valid token. If you want everything to sign out, then you can choose the Sign out connected devices when setting your new password option when you manually change the password on your account profile page.
