Plex password reset not working - not sending me reset emails

Using a second account to ask a question.

I had to reset my account since it was shoddily categorized so I decided to delete my Plex database and start anew, and perhaps delete the account as well (although I’m not sure about this - whether I actually deleted the account or whether it was just the databases)

So I try logging in to my account, with my correct password and it shows wrong password a couple of times and then goes to the reset screen. On the reset screen, I input my correct email and I never receive a password reset link, or anything of that sort.\

So I figured I might’ve deleted my account, and tried making another one with the same email, and it shows me the error “we still have this email in our database”.

I’d appreciate it if anyone would help. I would like to regain access to my old account or make a new one with the same email.

I have a friend that is having the same issue. They are sure they are entering the correct password, but it is not working. When they click to have a reset password link sent via email…they never get an email. checked the junkmail and blacklist settings. nothing for plex is blocked or showing up in junkmail. Nothing is being sent at all.
