Plex Player App Issue with EAC-3 DDP5.1 Audio Files

I encountered playback issues with a 4k HDR file and believe it has to do with the audio codec being EAC-3. Has anybody had similar issues or knows how to solve this?

The reason why I believe this is a Plex software issue and not the file is because the file plays perfectly fine via VLC or Plex via browser.
I have had this issue with any Plex player I tried (Apple-TV, Mac, WIndows). In the browser the file plays fine but I don’t have the option of streaming without transcoding. If I manually choose a lower resolution in the app to force transcoding sadly it also doesn’t help.

Any help on troubleshooting is greatly appreciated. :slight_smile:
