Plex Player hangs on launch

I’d like to uninstall Plex.app on my Mac AND all the supporting files in ~/library etc.

My problem is that the Plex.app player on my M1-iMac (Monterey 12.4) which is my server machine hangs after loading the folders on the left side… the rotating circle stops rotating…

Player works fine on a MacBook Pro on the home network as well as a browser Plex on the server
iMac. As I typed this I got a warning that my system was running out of memory. I forced quit Plex.app and the warning disappeared.

If I can uninstall the player and it’s dependent directories I can determine if it’s a corruption in one of those directories or something else.

I think the first two are maybe the only you probably need to delete but besides the application itself I think this is everything

~/library/application support/Plex
~/library/caches/Plex
~/library/logs/Plex
~/Library/Saved Application State/tv.plex.desktop.savedState
~/library/logs/diagnosticreports/Plex…

@BigWheel Thanks! Don’t know which folder was to blame but it works again. It would have been nice to delete them one by one to know which was the offending item, but it really wasn’t worth the effort. I appreciate your reply.

Problem reappeared, Plex app starts to load then hangs with a frozen progress circle. Finally loads around 1min 20sec later.
