Plex Player on LG TV - stuttering on playing recorded content

Player Version#: LG OS - Plex client version 5.28.2 / Platform version 5.3.0

Only for content that the Plex server records from my OTA antenna (HDHomeRun), when I try to watch any of that content, the picture stutters and often loses audio. When I play the same content on the Roku, it plays absolutely fine. The LG Player plays all other content without a problem (we actually prefer it for the HDR content).

Any idea on what to do with the Plex player on the LG TV?
